During this difficult time, I would like to share a South African proverb with you, dear Fluentella Family.
“Rain does not fall on one roof alone.” Meaning: Everyone has their difficult moments.Β
Which is exactly what is happening all around the world. Take care of yourselves, your loved ones, but also the elderly who have no one to look after them. The only way we can get through this is if we take care of each other.
On that note, I would like to encourage you to make the best of your time and book a free lesson with any of our teachers. Why not try a free 25 or 50 minute English, Mandarin, Spanish, French, Portuguese or Zulu lesson? Most of the Fluentella family is currently confined to their homes, this includes our students, parents, and teachers. Make a new friend and learn something while you are at it! We wish you happiness, health, and prosperity for the months and weeks to come.Β Remember, we are here if you need us!
Guess what?

As someone who already works from home, my daily routine has not changed that much. I am grateful that I can continue working and see all my students during this trying time. We make the most of our lessons and have a grand time learning and laughing. With more and more people confining themselves to their home, I’ve gone back to the long phone call for my daily dose of social interaction. I feel like I’m in middle school again, calling up friends who live not so far away just to have a chat that ends up being over an hour long.

Wow-what a month itβs been! It has gotten very quiet here in Bali which is actually really nice for a change! There havenβt been many tourists meaning Iβve had a lot of free time to enjoy surfing and the island. The local people are really happy and itβs nice to just watch βlife go onβ.
I am curious as to how next month will go! Never know what is around the corner. Stay safe everyone!

More and more people have gone back to work this week in China. And I am quite sure that we will conquer this epidemic together. 2020 is like a mixed bag. It took away a lot of peopleβs lives. A common saying goes, “Those who survive a catastrophe are bound to have good fortune”. Let us unite as one to fight the epidemic.

During this period, there have been many and few things to do at the same time. This global warning to stay home has shown us what things we usually invest our time in and also, the hows. Therefore, I have decided to take advantage of the quarantine to do the things I never had the time for and also schedule a wide variety of home tasks. Likewise, searching on the Intenet, I have discovered very interesting videos to make my lessons even more engaging. I am pleasantly surprised by what I have found! Without a doubt, itΒ΄s fascinating what we can learn, do and find in times of crisis when we invest our time in meaningful things. We wish you health and prosperity in this difficult moment. Praying for the world!

March is usually a time for new beginnings in Brazil. As I mentioned last month, Carnival is THE event in Brazil and as every Brazilian knows βBrazil only starts after Carnivalβ, so I was really looking forward to what the βNew Yearβ was going to bring us. Fortunately, what it brought us was a time of reflection, there is a lot of bad and evil going around in the world and this is the time for some internal cleansing. Time to stay inside your house and work on yourself, on your plans, on your dreams. People are coming together to help others, sacrificing leisure time to stay home and protect others from contamination. If we can get over this we can survive anything. Stay safe, stay home, wash your hands and carpe diem.

This month has been emotionally difficult. Because of the coronavirus, we have been confined at home for two weeks and we donβt know what will happen in the future. But itβs also an important moment to focus on yourself and to think about what matters the most: health and family. I am really glad to be able to help my students from all over the world. With their French lessons, they can express their feelings, talk about their worries and think about something else for a minute.

This month has been a month of many changes. From officially joining the Fluentella team to having to deal with the virus within our country. There is still time to be safe and isolate ourselves so our families and other citizens can be safe. Overall… this is an experience that will bring the world together and realize that together we are stronger. Stay safe and God bless!

Learning is a process that needs time and dedication. You and only you can take control over what you do, when and how you do it. Remember that short and steady practice is much better for the mind than long and irregular periods, so you donβt need to spend all day practising: just a few minutes every day will be enough for you to practice in any way you choose: reading, listening to music or doing exercises. April is Parkinson's Awareness Month
4μμ νν¨μ¨λ³ μ리기μ λ¬μ λλ€.
“Parkinsonβs Disease is often misunderstood by many, and for those who have it, it can be hard to get the resources you need to handle everyday life. This month is all about bringing awareness to this condition, allowing those who have it to seek help and for those who donβt to learn more about what it means to have it.”
What is Parkinson’s Disease?
(noun) – a progressive disease of the nervous system marked by tremor, muscular rigidity, and slow, imprecise movement, chiefly affecting middle-aged and elderly people. It is associated with degeneration of the basal ganglia of the brain and a deficiency of the neurotransmitter dopamine.
“How to celebrate Parkinsonβs Awareness Month
Start conversations with your friends and family about Parkinsonβs Disease. Start thinking about what PD means to you, and if youβre passionate about awareness, then let everyone know on social media using the hashtag #ParkinsonAwarenessMonth what this month means to you. Support your favorite foundations by donating and look up the most current research about PD to see if you can help others get the resources they need to handle PD”
